I combined the roughness, metallic, AO, and Alpha into a single detail texture.

I combined the roughness, metallic, AO, and Alpha into a single detail texture.

For this project I wanted to improve my prop pipeline. The specific areas that I focused on included: the high res, the UVs, and texturing. In the high res state I wanted to implement Zbrush. For the UVs, I wanted to learn how to calculate the amount of space the UVs were taking up, and chose to use the histogram tool in Photoshop. Finally for the texturing phase I wanted to get a better understanding of the Masking system and the Mask Editor in Substance Painter. I spent about 80 hours on this prop.
All Textures are 2048 by 2048.
